About Real Estate Investors plc
Real Estate Investors Plc (RLE.L) functions as a publicly traded, self-managed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) focused on property investments. The company holds a varied portfolio totaling 1.59 million square feet of commercial properties, expertly overseen by a management team with over a century of combined expertise in the Midlands property sector. Their strategic approach involves acquiring well-situated real estate assets within the established and reliable markets of the Midlands, with the aim of achieving both income generation and capital growth. These objectives are realized through diligent portfolio management, renovations, repurposing of assets, and strategic leasing activities. Importantly, the portfolio's performance does not significantly rely on any individual property or occupant. Real Estate Investors Plc became a REIT on January 1, 2015. As a REIT, it is exempt from corporation tax on its rental income and capital gains from qualifying operations. The company's primary goal is to boost the capital value and income from its holdings, supporting its progressive dividend policy, which has seen uninterrupted growth for the past seven years.
