Parker-Hannifin Corporation, established in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1917, is a global leader in the development and sale of motion and control technologies and systems, catering to mobile, industrial, and aerospace sectors. The company's operations are strategically divided into two principal divisions: Diversified Industrial and Aerospace Systems. The Diversified Industrial segment delivers a broad spectrum of solutions including sealing, shielding, thermal management products, adhesives, coatings, and noise/vibration reduction technologies. It also provides filtration systems for monitoring and purifying various liquids and gases, fluid connectors for control and transmission, and advanced control mechanisms engineered for demanding environments characterized by extreme corrosion, temperatures, pressures, and the need for precise flow. Furthermore, this segment supplies hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical components and integrated systems tailored for manufacturers and operators of mobile and industrial equipment. Its clientele primarily consists of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributors who, in turn, supply replacement parts across diverse industries such as manufacturing, packaging, processing, transportation, construction, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), agriculture, and military machinery. The Aerospace Systems segment is dedicated to supplying specialized products for commercial and military aircraft and engine applications. Its comprehensive product line features control actuation systems, engine ducting and exhaust nozzles, entire engine systems, fluid conveyance, fuel systems (including tank inerting), hydraulic systems, lubrication components, pilot controls, pneumatic control mechanisms, thermal management solutions, and landing gear components like wheels and brakes. Additionally, it provides devices for fluid metering, delivery, and atomization. This segment directly serves both OEMs and end-users with its offerings. The corporation employs a multi-channel sales strategy, utilizing its direct sales force, independent distributors, and external sales representatives to reach its global customer base.
