About Insight Molecular Diagnostics Inc.
Insight Molecular Diagnostics Inc., which transitioned from its former name OncoCyte Corporation in June 2025, functions as a specialized diagnostics enterprise with operations extending across the United States and internationally. The company's core activities involve pioneering and marketing a diverse array of diagnostic solutions, including laboratory developed tests, kitted products intended solely for research, and comprehensive kitted clinical tests. Its developmental pipeline features advanced tools such as DetermaCNI, a blood-based monitoring system engineered to identify early cancer progression promptly after just one treatment cycle. Another significant offering, DetermaIO, is a gene expression assay designed to evaluate the tumor microenvironment, thereby helping to predict a patient's potential response to immunotherapies. In the critical field of organ transplantation, Insight Molecular Diagnostics provides several vital monitoring products. Both VitaGraft Kidney and VitaGraft Liver are blood-based tests that precisely measure the concentration of donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) to assess the status of kidney and liver transplants, respectively. Additionally, GraftAssure represents a sophisticated dd-cfDNA test that leverages droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) technology to quantify dd-cfDNA levels by examining 48 predefined single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Beyond its product offerings, the company delivers various specialized services, including biomarker discovery, comprehensive assay design and development, support for clinical trials, and a range of general biomarker testing. Furthermore, Insight Molecular Diagnostics maintains a strategic partnership with Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. This collaboration focuses on the advancement and commercialization of kitted transplant products for both research use only and in vitro diagnostics applications, utilizing Bio-Rad's proprietary ddPCR instruments and reagents. Founded in 2009, the company's headquarters are situated in Nashville, Tennessee.
